Young Anatol Schneiderov had a strange encounter in a dark corridor inside the Orthodox Cathedral of Perm, Russia in 1905.

He was confronted with a red aurora that emitted no heat. Within the crimson haze a small (3-4 foot) entity leapt about. Anatol claimed it teased him and stuck its tongue out at him. Thinking it was some kind of prank being played on him by another boy Anatol rushed the creature, only for it to levitate away and vanish up the stairs.

As it fled he realized he encountered something paranormal and was too afraid to follow it.
