It's, once again, a good tutorial that covers the basics pretty well. And yes, blacks don't look god. I can agree to that c;
Depth has always been one of your greatest strenghts, so it's nice to see you share some of that knowledge~ And I really like that example you did for a bright day!
The part on perspective is really basic, but does the job you need it for, so I guess it's fine. You could elaborate on that if you ever feel like adding a few pages to this tutorial, though.
And maybe get someone for a bit of spell checking (at least for the next tutorial, if possible), there really are quite a few mistakes. (I wouldn't mind helping out, if you'd like me to.)

Well as you said, this explains the basics. I think that if I had to add more information to my tutorials I'd start from the first one about color, there is so much to say about it yet.

What mistakes did you find this time? (just curious)

and yeah, I may ask you next time, thanks for the offer

... uhh, how about we start with that "god"-thing? But really, it's a lot.
Then... well, right at the beginning, it has to be "Choose your language". Next, "welcome" is written with one "l" only. And umm... it goes on like that. Even disregarding punctuation (As I'm not too sure on that one. But I do think it should be "This time, I'm..." ) Ah, and "get depth" feels a bit awkward to me. I'd probably use a verb like... achieve or something along those lines. That might just be a matter of stylistic preference, though.
But yah, it just continues that frequency. Many typos and all sorts of other mistakes.
It's not a problem as far as comprehensibility is concerned, but for a tutorial it's just kind of... it takes away from the professionality and therefore also from the credibility, in a way. Ten or 15 mistakes wouldn't matter for a tutorial of this length, but it is a fact that there's something wrong with every second sentence here.
Oh, and if that sounded... harsh, I really don't mean for it to be. I know English isn't your first language and I don't expect that you write your comments and descriptions in flawless English. I just think that a tutorial might be worth getting someone to correct the flaws (at least the major ones).
And I'd always be glad to help! C:

(Oh, and did I mention that flickering sun on the preloader sorta freaks me out? It has such an apocalyptic feeling to it :'D )

I would've loved to read more on atmosphere, I liked how you used the same image for different settings with color and whatnot, that was a pretty strong aspect of this tutorial.

and not the atmosphere one? I thought that was the main one (but I knew that many people would find a lot of things they didn't know in the perspective one.

I learned a lot from this tutorial, and there were a lot of things that I normally wouldn't have stopped to think about were it not for this. I found the sections about perspective and depth especially helpful.
