In Photoshop it mixes as if it's a hexagon, and not an exact circle

My absolute worst thing when coloring is getting the lighting to look even believeable, forget realistic. Your tutorial should really help with that

Lovely tutorial, and a very good start for the introduction into digital colors and how they react to one another.
Definitely faving for future use. <3

Just to correct you on this, RGB can create many different colors, but it can't by default create every other color because to make green you use yellow and blue and thus that color model is inherently flawed. However because of its popularity it has gained momentum and has thus been set as the baseline for most websites and other medias that uses active colors (meaning colors generated by light as opposed to paintings where colors are passive)
However if you where to rephrase it to PRIMARY ADDITIVE COLORS it could be qualified as correct, but the 3 primary colors are and will always be red, blue and yellow and not green as used in this palette. You are not the first to make this error though, i corrected my teacher in school about this too
Wiki is fairly clear on this: [link]

I think you understood nothing and you are mixing aditive and sustractive mixing all up. Why don't you read a little more (and on a little more confident sources than wikipedia) about this? I really don't have the strength of explaining that to you in english right now.

actually i don't have it mixed up at all, and i just used wiki as a reference to what i already have learned about, colors and light in school. I didn't mention it, but i have had schooling on art and design from high school, and photography, photoshop, newspapers start to finish, making a advertisement campaign, movies was all a part of this

photoshop wasn't my strongest skill tho, i knew photoshop fairly well technically, but when it came to manipulations of photos its a bit of a weak spot. Creating something from scratch comes easier. I don't have any higher education beyond high school yet though, so i plan to go back to school and get some more training done and hopefully my manipulation skills will improve to the level i wish for them to be at. I know several great photographers and designers who generally show much better skills than what little i have, not to mention all the creative minds on this site.
