Please download for better view of text.People often ask me if/how I made my Keyblade. So I decided to post a tutorial. This was all done by memory from over a year and a half ago so I hope I got all the steps.
Supplies:
1. Wooden Pole
2. Rigid Insulation Foam (R.I.F.)
3. Wonderflex
4. Friendly Plastic
5. Box Cutter
6. Chain
7. Keyring
8. Sumo/Gorilla glue
9. Paints
10. Sander
11. Electric Drill
12. Hook
13. Pliers
14. Paintbrush
15. Electrical Tape
Sorry for any typos
Remember to be extremely careful while working on this. It's easy to hurt yourself if you aren't paying attention. Always cut away from yourself and if you don't know how to use a drill, ask someone to do it for you that knows how.
Be very careful with the glue as well. It's SUPER sticky and if it gets on your skin, it's staying there.

Woah! Thats sick O_o .. I need to make a keyblade!It looks so epic and it doesnt seem to be too hard .. Just need to get all the stuff , which can be a problem

Thanks this helps so so much! I'm making my keyblade adifferent way but this is so much easier so I'm gonna try and do it this way. Also I love your copslay espeacially your Sora and I'm gonna try go to my first anime con as Sora the pants are difficult did you use a pattern to make the Sora Pants if you did can you tell what type of pattern it should be! This is a really awesome tutorial. Although we can't really follow it XDDD. We're making our Keyblade out of metal. Haha it's heavy as hell, but it's looking good so far XDD. Gotta love being able to work in a machine shop ne?
Either way, this tutorial is really good for those who really want to make a keyblade and make it out of materials that aren't hard to get a hold of(or to get away without using heavy machinery XD). I actually really like this, it is very helpful ^^

For the wooden pole would a old wooden broom handle work?

though i have a question or 2. Did you make the chain for the keychain or buy it ? and did you just sticky tape the blade onto the wood?

I bought a chain from my local hardware store and then adjusted the size to the length I wanted.
The blade is attached with gorilla glue. You need something strong to hold it together.

this really helps alot i'b been so frustrated trying to find a descent tutorial for a keyblade (that i cant afford xD ) now i can finally make a keyblade for my cosplay o3o

Interesting <3 this is actually the same method I use for my own Keyblades, just a WARNING- they ARE a bit fragile if you're harsh on them <3 Or have long fingernails XD i... don't want to know HOW MANY i've made over the past year or so XD aaand probably should make another backup soon so i have it and am not rushing for AB.
