(Also known as Demidevimon Digivolve To... except that is a mouthful with a lot of D's so no).
Whups I did another season 3 evolution sequence. But Demidevimon deserves it since I've been drawing him a lot recently and I needed a project in between events. Plus it was good practice for drawing Devimon, who has a lot of details...but I'm starting to get the hang of them now.
Now I can focus 100% on the hunting event, which I've done all my rough sketches for already...but I wanted to finish this first and not leave it hanging

Note that both the animation itself, as well as the voice speaking during the sequence, write/say "Evolution" and not "Digivolution," which is a term coined by the English dub only.
Second, please read my description. I stated I did not use the term 'Digivolution' because I did not want an excessive amount of D's or an overly long title.

It looks a lot like an MP4 player because it basically is one. It's an iPod
I haven't done more of them because they take quite a while and I've been working on other projects, too, but I would like to do another some day

When I was little, I always pretended DemiDevimon was my partner. o3o
Now I have cuddle dreams with Devimon. HE TOTALLY DIGIVOLVED IN MY SUBCONSCIOUS.

Demidevimon was ALWAYS one of my favorites. I was totally disappointed when he didn't join the team. (I mean, I thought Gatomon was cool too, but still....poor Demidevimon!)

Honestly I was never really a fan of the matrix or biomerge sequences. They felt kinda bland compared to the Season 1 ultimate evolution sequences. If I did an 'ultimate evolution' sequence at all it would probably borrow from either season 1 or season 5.

I feel the same way! I really wanted Demidevimon to join the team. But then they used Gatomon instead and I was sad.

It couldn't be helped. Β They just didn't want to add a Digimon to the team that was clearly a dark influence.... (but in my opinion, they're being raciest against the 'Nightmare Soldier' catagory of Digimon.)

Haha, you have a point there! With all the bad digimon being 'dark' varieties it'd probably seem strange to have a Demidevimon on the team. Especially since he evolves into either Bakemon or Devimon and both have been enemies in the past...

I'm hoping to make my own Digimon Story, and I still need a lot of ideas for it. Β Maybe I should include DemiDevimon, just because he needs some love...I need to get him a partner, though.Β

Have you considered joining ?
You can do it with writing and drawing, and it might be a fun way to play with a Demidevimon if you can't find a way to include him in your story.
