This was inspired by a lullaby my mother used to sing. It was about a mother losing her child and asking passerbys if they've seen him/her.
It was never clear to me how old or what gender said child was. The way I interpret the song is that her child left and hasn't returned, and she longs for the times when she still had a baby to care for.
I decided to make something serious for Ursa, as I think there will be much to be mended when (and if) she returns. I believe she would try to help Azula, who is seen here crushed and into a deep depressive state.
And the baby sleeping is Azula

Ursa seems like the most kind and loving character. If anyone could help Azula, it's Ursa. It would be awesome if they all went out to find Ursa and had some wacky, heart-wrenching adventures.

Bittersweet...
It's beautiful. The soft blues are like a sky.
Somehow, it feels both sad, longing and hopeful.
A bit like one of those autumn days you get sometimes. Very beautiful, but somehow melancholic.

Melancholy but with a tinge of hope is what i was aiming for. Autumn always gets me into a melancholic mood, and I felt my gallery should have something else than humor to add variety.

HA! everyone's reaction is to always draw ursa and zuzu, but i'm glad you keep to your theme of ursa wanting desperately to save azula. the end made me choke up a bit.

My first idea was to have Ursa reunited with Zuko, but after a while Azula seemed like it would fit better with the feelings that lullaby evoqued in me. There might be hope for Azula if she shakes off Oxai's influence. My theory is that's he's to blame for her upbringing.
