Description
So, the Bride sword is coming together AT LAST.I have been struggling with the last few bits and decided the person who will assemble them all and do the handle get to do the fastening of the last seppa and sleeve.
I have ruined about 10 miniature gold leaf bits, three small silver sleeves and almost managed to melt the whole thing.
I can't believe it's finished. I am really proud over all these little bits and can't wait to see the finished item!
Heading over first weekend of August 2010 to deliver the small bits to the handlemaker.

Such beautiful work, I love making tiny swords. I have boxes of them laying around so i'm thinking of putting them up on an etsy site

As far as I understand t will be traditionally tied with stingray skin and thin leather stips in a certain, traditional pattern.
The guy I'll be handing it over to re-wraps antique swords in different tying patterns as a hobby.
