Was I the only one ticked off that Dee Dee was hardly shown in the movie Ego Trip?! To remedy this travesty I decided to draw her myself.As my sister would say, puberty was kind to Dee Dee. XD
Anyway I tried to keep in design with the film by following the formulae used for Dex and Mandark and the other characters in the movie.
There's the original version (obviously), then the future version (which has a similar face but different body type), then the apocalyptic version (if Dexter gets to be buff and manly Dee Dee gets to be hot), and then the elderly version. XD And where Dexter's symbol is the wrench and Mandark's is an M, Dee Dee's is a heart.I think I overthought this.

That's true about the movie. DeeDee was a major character in the series and should have been in the movie more. I thought the movie was disappointing in comparison to the series.

Me too. It was just kind of random all throughout and that's not how I thought Dex and Mandark's rivalry would have/should have ended. XD I preferred "Last But Not Beast" as the finale.

Was there a reason why Dexter kept the lab a secret to his parents in the first place? This was never revealed.

I think he was afraid they would freak out - in "Last But Not Beast" they acted like he would get in trouble. IDK why though - they knew he was a genius so...

Well Dexter's common sense and intelligence is sometimes questionable like other than the incident with the burrito it's like, it's established that Dexter does have a device that if his parents ever find out about the secret laboratory, he would use it to erase their memory of it, now... WHY HASN'T HE USED THE DEVICE ON DEE DEE? If he did then not only would she not be in there but she would even forget it's existence. Either Dexter never thought of it nor he probably has a reason to allow her to keep the knowledge of Dexter's Lab.

Well in that one episode (where he tries to hire a new sister xD) it's shown that he actually technically NEEDS Dee Dee's distraction so he can focus on his work...
But yeah, I actually think there's a bit of a joke in the series that Dexter's NOT as smart as he thinks and Dee Dee is smarter. Dexter is good at science and that's about it...whereas Dee Dee is good at ballet, all sports, surfing, karate, and can power every machine Dexter has made himself. So maybe Dex just hasn't thought about it - he is only like 8. XD

It's basically Smash Bros. but with CN characters in it. Dexter and Monkey are playable... you know I still wonder if Dexter and the Powerpuff Girls take place in the same world but they never fully established it in their shows.
I'm still pissed that in Punchtime Explosion, they don't have Courage, the Eds, Jake and Finn, and Mordecai and Rigby in it. At least Dexter, Samurai Jack and the KND make up for it.
