Description
Driven by the harsh cries of ravens, Alahhaois fled into the forest. Their cries enveloped him: no matter how swiftly he ran, they were always there, crying closer and closer. In an act of desperation, he kicked open the weathered door of an abandoned cottage...They surrounded him, cruel croaks and burning red eyes piercing as they flew, turned, and settled on the forgotten wood of the surrounding cupboards. Desperately, he clutched the lifeless body of his lover. The blood...why wasn't it working? He had given him his blood...!
He felt a cold creep through him, into his bones and his very soul itself. When he finally was able to push aside the tearing dread and open his eyes, he saw...himself.
Morena stood in the doorway, framed by stark moonlight. The angel of death, who took the most desired form of the dying, gazed at him as a mirror.
"Looks like he's thinking of you."
An old scene between =ladydove7 and myself, of her elf Ry's vampirizing. I lost the original record of what we wrote, so this is a very loose summary of what happened. Most importantly is what she said.

I think you could have pushed the shadows a bit, and made it have a bit more contrast, but it looks good

Ahahahah, well "Alahhaois" is Irish meaning "famous general" or something along those lines. I named him before I knew how to pronounce anything in Irish, so the way I pronounce it is "Ah-lah-ha-OH-is." The correct pronunciation would in fact be something like, "Ah-LA-heesh."
Ry would just be "Ry," and Morena is, I think, just "Mor-EEN-uh."

Some people use the terms interchangeably (even people in Ireland, I've found) but technically, "Gaelic" can refer to multiple languages, including Scottish Gaelic and Irish Gaelic. Generally if you want to be safe, just call it "Irish." Or, if you want to be all fancy, Gaeilge
