Patch JobAlt mode: a UK Volvo S80 Ambulance
A Special-Ops team of autobots were on their way to rendezvous after hearing Optimus Primeβs call to meet up on earth, when the decepticon Soundwave in his alt mode of a satellite hit them with a EMP knocking them from their trajectory and crash landing in the UK, and leaving them with temporary memory loss and shorting out their long range communications leaving them unable to contact any other autobot on earth.
The battlefield medic and communication officer of the group, although not a skilled medic/repair as say the autobot Ratchet, she is a fine battlefield medic, like you would find in a military squad.
For her design I did not want to make her look to feminine, instead I wanted to make an autobot designed for a certain purpose that just happens to be a female. To me the problem with female Autobots is that they often are made all 'hippy' and almost have no hint of their alt mode in their overall design, so I tried to tie as much of her alt mode into Patch Jobβs design
I gave her the standard shoulder pad/front fenders. Her chest is actually the hood of the alt mode, I was going to make the top of her to be the Front of the car, but that would mean that she would have head-lights near her.... (You get the point)
Love her head design; I gave her a retro style nurse cap, just to tie as much of her medic aspect as I could.
And the box that she is carrying is actually her medical/repair kit. I choose to make it simply a box to tie in the tool box and the equipment that an ambulance medic would carry.

Her entire upper half is my favorite. Just keeping the bulk to her shoulders really makes it look like she can turn into something else entirely, and is not restricted to a feminine form. That, and her face is adorable.

I love her design, especially the fact that she can actually transform and isn't just a bunch of car parts thrown onto a feminine form. I try to keep a similar philosophy whenever I design a female TF.
She sounds like an interesting character - I can't wait to see more!
