"It was just a normal business day. The latest episode of Rugrats had been made, and I was just supposed to slide it into airing after Ren and Stimpy. It was a slow day, so I decided to watch the episode. It had a childlike charm, and I found myself chuckling quite a few times.
But then, after the credits rolled, and I was preparing to get back to work, I saw it. A . . . face. That's the best word to describe it, because it didn't resemble any sort of face. It had two large realistic eyes, and some sort of human lips. It was . . . BEYOND off-putting."

" That wasn't all,Β I listened as the face suddenly spoke a strange garble to me. I didn't understand
what it was saying at all, but it didn't sound like anything good. Unsettled, I called over my coworker
to ask his opinion on it before proceeding to replay the logo again. Needless to say, he found it
just as disturbing but assured me that face was simply saying the company's name, ' Klasky Csupo '.
Though a bit unnerved, I felt satisfied with the answer and carried on with my day's work.
However as day turned into night, the memory of the face crept back into my mind.
Curious, I decided to run the end credits of Rugrats again just to see if I could make
out the message my coworker told me. Sure enough, I too heard the same except..."

". . . Except something was still off. I played it in slow-motion and in reverse, but I couldn't hear anything different. However, on my last attempt, I could have sworn that horrifying face stared right at me, and . . . winked.
I tried to convince myself it was nothing important.
But was it really?
I slept horribly that night.
The next day, I was rudely awakened by my phone. I picked up a call from my boss, who told me that my coworker had hanged himself in his apartment the previous night. Shocked, I nearly dropped my phone. My thoughts immediately returned to that unnerving face, but . . . that was impossible . . . right?
At work, my boss explained to me that the coworker had come into work four hours early, went right in front of the security camera, and hanged himself. Footage from the camera showed that during his death, he garbled some disturbing words.
And they sounded an awful lot like . . . 'Klasky Csupo.' "

" I didn't know what to make of it...
Was I going insane? I mean a cartoon can't kill someone, they don't really exist...
But no matter how much I assured myself, I couldn't help but think that something terrible was going to happen.
My boss needed somebody to take over my deceased coworker's place. Unfortunately, he decided that somebody would be me. "

"And, since he was, well, dead, I needed to make up a lot of work.
So much so that I ended up having to work overtime.
Call me a baby all you want, but that night, as my fellow coworkers left, I felt . . . terrified.
Halfway through the night, I had managed to finish the work. I prepared to leave, when I heard a scream come from my boss' office.
Entering the office, I found my boss' body, lined in the center of a giant pool of bloody. And there was some . . . ungodly thing near it, sitting at the window, about to leave into the night.
It looked like a human, but much, much thinner, and wore no clothes. As it turned to look at me, I got a glance of its face.
The logo. Its face was that horrifying logo. I couldn't move. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't even bring myself to blink.
And right before it jumped out the window, never to be seen again, I heard it say, in some terrible disturbing voice . . .
"Klasky Csupo."

" I tried to collect myself, but all I felt like doing was vomiting,
as the stench of my boss' still warm blood had made me sick to my stomach.
In a panic I tried to leave the building,Β but before I could manage to escape, every light cut out and I found myself concealed in complete darkness.
I froze, I couldn't keep moving,Β for I couldn't risk encountering something as horrific as that creature.
Suddenly I saw a bright light in the corner of my eye,Β it was coming from one of the computers I had done countless amounts of editing on.
Yet there was nothing on the screen...nothing that is except a constant static. I wanted to look away for fear of seeing something horrific but I found myself inching closer to it.
Closer and closer...
Then I saw something on the screen that surprised me....
it was nothing more than an episode of SpongeBob. "

(OH GEEZ, THIS IS LATE!!!)
"Sighing, I cautiously studied the monitor. As SpongeBob's theme played, I thought of what I just saw. The hideous monster. The logo. My dead boss.
I gasped as I recalled my dead boss. I needed to call the police immediately.
However, as I went to reach for the phone, the theme song to SpongeBob ended, and my eyes felt . . . drawn. I couldn't look away from the screen. I walked a few steps back before freezing in place as the episode began.
Oddly enough, nothing was wrong with the episode. It was one of the early season one episode - the one where SpongeBob gets Anchor Arms to appear buff. It was a cute little episode, and I found myself chuckling at a few scenes.
But . . . why? I just saw the death of my own boss . . . what am I doing laughing at SpongeBob?
After the episode, the credits rolled, and I found myself gaining control of my body once more. I sighed, and reached for the phone.
As I dialed 9-1-1, I paused.
The audio on the monitor had stopped.
Turning slowly, I saw something horrifying.
That . . . face.
That horrifying face.
It was on the screen."
