Update
I think me and that other guy made up, so to let whoever know: This was made during a fight that is no more I think.
I also removed a tag that actually said his name. It's gone.
Of course, I still am for what I said in the stamp and the examples, etc.. Just saying a fight is over and such.
Update Done
Face it, this is the Internet.
Opinions CAN be argued and you have to get over that.
If you don't want to be criticized for your ways, then don't say anything in the first place.
This but it's my opinion crap has gone too far and it's getting very out-dated.
Yes, people can be intended to there opinions but when you claim something that involves other people, a critique, etc. You will be argued. Period.
I've been viewed as a person who "ruined" something JUST because I couldn't drop something.
I'm sorry but if it's really my fault, then who is the one that made me argued?
Oh wait, I could of ignored it? Excuse me? Ever heard of the fact that opinions can be criticized?
And once more, ignored it? What about ignoring my replies then? Then wait, that wouldn't be fair to you then? Well, welcome to what we call "Debating".
God! I've had a fight with this Alpha and Omega fan, and he thinks I've ruined this club I've been to. Yes, I'm a fan too. So I'm not a hater.
You want to know something?
This person talks shit about me on a wall somewhere, then I explain something, then I posted him a PM proving something, then he goes up and uploads a picture of what I showed him, defending the censorship against what I wanted to argue, then we frighted (I argued why it was wrong to censor other people). Now it's "my fault"... Because I fucking argued.
The same guy goes up to my article links that also has criticism in it and selfishly say "No one cares", I argue, then he blames me for starting the fight.
The whole fucking group is "covered" in drama because I stood up for my self and for others.
No, this isn't how it works. When someone talks shit about someone on a wall, upload and defend censorship, etc.. That's where the fight starts.
All I did was stood up and criticized. Now people there are like "I could of ignored the guy". No, that's not how it works.
When you post something that can be argued, I will argue it. You guys don't want that? Then don't fucking post it in the first place!
Then some time, the guy said "You will never change me!" or something.. Yeah, I actually will admit it: I want to change him. I want to fucking change him to be a BETTER PERSON!
God! That was one hell of an example.
In that arena ermm I mean area, I'm probably hated for giving out feedback, defending, etc.
Yet, the last time I've seen that guy again, he did the SAME thing I've did. Argue, try to explain, etc, etc.. What the flying hell of a trash trucking god damn hell!
I hope this guy learns, I'm sorry but I hope he does. I wish he can apologize.

Anyway, the only time you can't argue an opinion is when they personality dislike something or personality like something.
However, if you claim something like: "This is weird", then it's fair to argue and say "There is no such thing as normal".
Or if you claim: "It's *name here's* fault". That can be arguable because it involves other things other than personal interest/disinterest.
Or if you claim: "The person has the right to censor your criticism", then that can be argued.
Or if you claim: "I gave credit, so it's fair use automatically.", Then that can be obviously argued and quoted from the US Law.
etc..
Get it? Good. Deal with it!
I am so sick of this hypocritical garbage!

this is something a certain toxic community needs to understand. just because someone is disagreeing (arguing) your opinion because it's poorly constructed or vice versa with facts doesn't equal to them automatically disrespecting it. both respecting one's opinion and disagreeing with one's opinion go hand in hand with one another, not one or the other.

People are hypocrites. It's part of human nature, unfortunately. Does that make it right? No. But it's not a crime, either. But it's also not a desirable trait.
Opinions can and can't be argued at the same time. Some people perceive it to be as if someone's trying to change their own opinions. However, my opinion is, only you should be able to change your own opinions. If you feel someone else is trying to shove his opinion down your throat, it's because you're letting this person do so. It's the same thing as when people get offended by an opinion: If my words offend you, it's not my fault. It is yours.

A healthy debate is nice, but all these arguments just get tiring after a while.
Don't get me wrong, I see where you're coming from, but I think that people just need to respect each other and not bicker all the time.
Though some points of view are just WRONG.

An opinion can have something like this:
"I think people don't deserve respect for liking the sequels of a movie"
People are allowed to call that out and give an opinion back.
Or another one:
"It's my opinion that Mars doesn't exist".

This.. I don't get how you came up with it.
An opinion: Your personal thoughts on a matter.
So you say someone can argue over what you think?
It does make sense that far, but then you make the point that you try to change people's thoughts.
That's not "debating" or "arguing", that's the origin of the Thought Police in a sentence!
But that aside, you cannot change people's ideas through self-delusionΒ , especially when said self-delusion is that you canΒ change people's ideas through self-delusion.Β
So therefore your opinion is shit.

It depends on what really is "self-delusion". And sometimes, I don't give a damn if I "force" change someone if there 'opinion' involves harassing others for who they are, or if there opinion is dumb (2+2=5), or other world issues.
Sorry man, but it's arguable if you claim an event but actually that event never happened.
Also, you didn't very well prove that my opinion is "shit".
Hell even those 'self-delusion' people (e.g. Normal Religion) can sadly change people. It happened before. No really, it's actually EVERYWHERE because of so.
Therefor, it is your opinion that is shit.

Your opinion is that my opinion is shit, but my opinion is that your is shit.
*insert endless argument spiral here*

Opinions are arguable.
If you keep claiming something without further arguing, then you already lost.
Personal Opinion (Disliking) =/= Global Opinion (Events, Legit Critique, People, etc).
Also, I didn't read that other comment yet. Sometimes I take breaks.

Once, I commented on a video saying "I can't believe people do these horrible things in the name of god!" (it was on a video called Kidnapped for Christ) and someone said
"NOT ALL CHRISTIANS ARE LIKE THAT MOTHERFUCKER!! WE AREN'T STUPID, WE AREN'T EVIL! ATHEISTS ARE EVIL FOR PORTAYING US THAT WAY RATHER THAN LETTING US LIVE IN PEACE"
And I said a LONGΒ paragraph, but I basically said "you're being rude" and guess what she said?
"Rude for stating my opinions?"

wwwarea In reply to Cobra50A [2014-10-27 23:23:49 +0000 UTC]
Not sure, it can depend. It is true that an opinion can be rude though but not always, like did you say anything in the paragraph that may be considered rude it's self?
And yeah, that full-caps comment does sound rude, calling you names, etc. xD

No. I stayed calm and he just flipped out. And I said "give me a reason to believe in Jesus without using the bible."
And he went on quoting the bible. He ignored everything I said and just kept shoutingΒ
"HE DIED FUR YUU HE DIED FOR YOOO!"

wwwarea In reply to Cobra50A [2014-10-28 00:24:47 +0000 UTC]
Well it's hard to make a point to believe in Jesus without the bible as the forgiving and sin thing is all in there at the same time, but I can see your point.
He is yelling, and repeating I think. xD
