The First Age and Second Ages are but known as the time when Man wielded first stone and then steel respectively, and then Man learned to wield the Wrath of Prometheus, mastering reality itself. This time was known as the Third Age, the peak of Mankind. None know what it looked like beyond the legends of myth, but Usano, the land in which they inhabit, was once united, the beacon of prosperity to all the worlds. But the day came when Usano was struck by Wraths of an enemy land, known as Usorusky, and so ended the glory of civilization. Then there were the Tribulations, the years spent when Man could not walk the surface of the Earth, when he had to dwell in shelters and bunkers, only to be followed by the Great Winters

It is now 212 years into the Sixth Age. Scholars in both the former Cagan Empire and at the College of Artificers in Ossiden refer to it as 501 After Reheat (AR), in reference to the end of the Great Winters. At the moment, the civilized world of the West lies locked in a bloody conflict of such scale never before seen since the Day of Wrath itself. It is the Tripartite War, and only months in, few know how it will end. The Rainlands, under their new Mayor, have always looked to the South and East with disdain, being adherents to their own pagan tradition of the worship of Nature and the Mother-God Eden, alongside her son Jezeus; seeing the South as heathens, they have begun a holy crusade to conquer the largest and most prominent Carpentist power; the Empire of Ossiden. Ossiden is led by the ever worrying and increasingly frail Emperor Tenecius II, but is allied by the Accords of Faith with the Domain of the Saviour itself, those lands ruled directly by the Church of the Carpenter Ascendant. While also heathens to the Rainlanders, Mayor Brodina was able to convince the Dominion of Canaheim to attack the Ossidanes in kind, as northern nations both have seen great unrest with the ever persistent missionaries that enter their lands.

With Canaheim seeking to ban missionaries and the Rainlands seeking to enforce their faith, Ossiden and the Domain find themselves fighting two separate wars, but a mere few weeks after the conflicts began, a third, the final faction of the Tripartite War, was announced. While fellow Carpentist powers, the Kingdoms of Gulcosta and Ciuhico seek to end Ossidane prominence in Usano, hoping to use their victory in the war not only to secure monopoly over the ore mines of the Rook Mountains, but to unite their nations and vassal as one mighty Empire that will dominate the land for the next ten thousand years.

While not officially part of the Tripartite War, the City of Cago, backed by the Gulcostans, has began their Great Reconsolidation, with aims of reuniting the now fallen Cagan Empire that once sat as the premier power in the late Fourth and Fifth Ages. The other Cagan successor states, led by the mighty City of Troit, while receiving no official backing from Ossiden and the Domain, have been promised their aid in forming their own Troiter Empire in the future should they prove successful in crushing Cago.

The war rages on, and, knowing of an immense force of all their enemies amassing in the East, Emperor Tenecius has sent four of his famed Knights of Aegis to visit the far flung province of Shyan and the fabled Mount Noradoh there within. For in the mountain lies a Wrath of Prometheus. The old sovereign but prays to Diohovah and Marimuerta that he will not have to use it...
