Edited the map used by rvbomally for his Star Wars scenario here .Just made it blank for easier use, and created a little key with various symbols of various factions to use.

Well someone else made the map, I just turned it into a blank version. Still though, you could make and can edit a map like this in MS Paint if you wanted to. I used paint.net and Inkscape, which are both free softwares. I made all the icons in the bottom right just by doing a bit of pixel art with the logo I wanted to convey.

I use Paintshop Pro, but Paint.net, Inkscape, and even MSPaint are all programs that can be used.
