Isis came to me in a dream last week and demanded that I make her mask.Seriously.
I try not to make a habit of annoying Goddesses, so I thought I'd better make a start on this one right away.
**EDIT** Oh my goodness! This was a daily deviation and I had no idea until now. Many apologies to everyone who posted, I have not been very active online just lately - something I must rectify. Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments.
Isis must indeed have been smiling, as I achieved the DD on my mum's birthday.

This is the most beautiful mask I have ever seen. I am a high priestess of Isis and I can certainly tell how much of her energy must of poured out from you into this marvelous work of art. The goddess is most certainly pleased.

Congratulations on your DD, though it does not surprise me in the least, I remember being totally awestruck and dumbstruck when I saw this beautiful piece of work. Well done luvy, you deserve it, your work is absolutely breathtaking, I'm so proud of you.

I have to say I like the natural finish, if I were to buy something like this I'd much prefer it how it is to "grand and golden", but that's just my personal taste.

Really beautiful. I saw the thumbnail in the daily deviation list. I saw the horns and went "Isis?" and sure enough...
Personally, I would love to see this in person, as a physical object, but I'm all touchy-feely like that.
I really like the fill for the feathers, not like other leatherwork I've seen that make them look like leaves.
Again, this truly is a beautiful piece. I'm confident that She will be more than pleased with it.
(On a different note, about goddesses being scary: tell me about it! Part of why we love 'em, though, isn't it?)

Wow, absolutely amazing! Beautiful movement, the eye follows the line to the tip of the mask. Shaping and finish are excellent, very nice!
