Well you seem to know what you're doing as the finish project looks excellent!
On the tutorial side of things though it is very basic. I, like many others have previous mentioned, would like to see a Illustrator pen tool guide (assuming that's how you made it) and just generally realted it more to illustrator.
Good job overall!

I haven't been through all yourtutorial yet but have you explained exactly how to use the pen tool? Most of the people who do ask about vectoring are usually stumped on how to use the pen tool itself (e.g. manipulating the anchor points, handles, etc...). I know I had a hard time explaining those in the forums but since you're an expert on this thing why not create tutorial on the pen tool itself? I know a lot of folks will appreciate it and I'll definitely recommend it to others

wow this is nice...but im a beginner...i don't understand ...would have been greater if there's a tutorial to it with explaining how each step is done...i'll definitely
it if this happens..and learn from it

i dont understand this for shit.. haha
i see pictures and words. what about the hole tutorial part of it. the part where its ment to tell u each step and how to get to the end. ?
im so confused. all i can make of it is. you have done all the work without steps of getting there, and put words to the parts that show a new image of your creation.
*sadface* i wonna learn vectors.

The vector in this tutorial is great and the dog really ands a point of interest sometimes missing from the countless human face vectors out there. The tutorial is a little slim on detail however and perhaps the title could be give more information. It doesn't appear to be specific to Illustrator CS in its tutoring, and doesn't give instruction as to the use of tools used in CS.
I don't personally have a lot of vector experience and am not particularly skilled when it comes to detailed face vectors, so from this perspective the tutorial does little more that show me that you know what your doing and perhaps a general approach to the order that you do things in. It was however clear, well laid out, and easy to read. I appreciate the design and colour choices that went into the tutorial its self, something that is missing from a lot of tutorials out there.
