Description FULL VIEW, PLEASE!

This version is edited from the original version [link] , by using Adobe Photoshop CS. The color is “painted” by adjusting the color balance. Mainly I use cyan, green and blue for the color, and some yellow for highlight to avoid the drawing looks flat.

“With great power comes great responsibility”, actually, there is seldom people know that, is the theme for the “Spider-Man”. This is the spirit of Spider-Man himself, which empowers him to fight for justice for the citizens in New York City after having the “spider-like” extraordinary power and ability (because the bite of a radiated spider). In fact, it has a touching story behind the theme:

Peter's (Spider-Man's) legal guardian and beloved Uncle Ben was later killed by a thug that Peter had allowed to escape. Realizing that stopping the thief when he had the chance would have prevented his uncle's murder, Spider-Man devoted himself to fighting injustice, driven by the realization that "with great power there must also come great responsibility." This phrase (usually in the modified form "with great power comes great responsibility") has subsequently achieved widespread fame. (*adapted from Wikipedia [link]

Booyeah. I like that.
Now just a small question, is that ment to be the newer spiderman-symiote suit, the spidy-amour or the origonal spider-man? They do have a realy stong likeness.

It reminds me of the SM movie verision of the black costume...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

yctham In reply to NightmareSyx [2006-11-20 11:37:32 +0000 UTC]

Ah, haha! Now i only realised it. It's just co-incidence.

I didn't mean to draw that black costume version in this piece, though. I was just trying to add some color on the pencil work by adjusting the color balance in Photoshop, and i only could choose one color for it. So i chose blue-cyan, 'coz it's similar to the blue on Spidey's costume, and the color of Statue of Liberty.

The only piece i drew for the black costume is this one -> [link]

Anyway, thank you for sharing your thoughts. *BIG hug*

Therefore so in the Brazilians is mermão in Latin America says portugês.
Already I went esquesendo “MERMÃO” is an affectionate form to say My brother. OK is not bothers none for me to use the translator I so is worried that the translation is not being understood well. Mermão was valid and a great one I hug.

Looks great. I have a poster up on my wall of this kind of pose from S-P2 but without the web.

yctham In reply to Liquid-86 [2006-07-25 12:29:17 +0000 UTC]

Uh! This work actually I refered to a picture from Spiderman comic I found on net The pose in both the comic version and SP-2 movie poster all the same, i know, yeah.. but the comic version one is exagrated, so the effect will be stronger; yet I chose the comic version as reference at last. Anyway, I also did include some elements in the movie poster, as you can wounds on his arms, hands and fingers (well, they're not obvious to see )

And thanks for your compliment!
