Description
I’m opening up Emergency Commissions to help with things like bills and taxes and school expenses. I’m offering 1500x2100 commissions, bust and half-length of characters in Greyscale and Monochrome.
Please email me with your “commission pitch”, if I accept the commission I’ll email you and send an invoice. Due to the emergency nature of the commissions I’m asking for payment upfront, I won’t begin work on a commission until the invoice is paid and commissions will be worked on in the order that they are paid for. If you send me money before I send you an invoice, I will refund it back to you. I use email because I will be sending you the full rez artwork for your personal use via email while I upload smaller, watermarked versions online for public sharing. Having all commissions go through email also helps me organize everyone’s commissions since these are being offered on multiple platforms/websites.

Roughly how many slots about are you going to have open this time around? I figure it depends on how much each commission since you could have $10 slots open but most are $30 value so you open up about 15 slots.
Just asking since I don't want to miss the boat! Best of luck getting a heap of good clients! :3

As many as I feel I can handle? sorry, I know it's rather vague, but I really do have a lot of expenses especially since I know I'm going to owe taxes this year, and since DotL is on break I really need the money I'm taking as many as I can at the moment.

Totally feel you and completely understandable. I want to get one so badly (visual refs, lol...) I'm keeping mine open indefinitely just to bring in wandering cash plus I might have to splurge on my cat soon for a vet's visit. He's long over due.... but I like commissioning other artists 8'( At least I have babysitting jobs usually twice a week every other week or more, but those sometimes cancel so I'm out on extra cash. God always provides, I believe!

a visual ref doesn't mean it has to be expertly drawn. I just work way faster and better with a visual basis to start from than a huge block of text. Even something like this: as long as it clearly communicates to me what the character looks like (and you can definitely include a written addendum to specify what you feel is or isn't expressed clearly), it's something I can work with.

Very true! Though written can be vague, like it anything I'm revamping a few characters so not even their written description is solid anymore :V You are awesome and diversity and uniqueness so it's probably not much hassle for you but more at this point it's like: WELL. Got to give some guidelines or else if I give total creative freedom I end up being fussy about not totally matching my mind's eye.
Btw that example still looks good lol. Younger Yoko had a good taste for design even then! (Them shoes and sword!)

lol younger Yoko thanks you. I wish I had older examples, but that and one other are the only two that made it into the digital era.
