It was for my bookarts/bookbinding class. Our first two books were a collaborative work, so this is one of the pages that went into one of the books. It's a double-page spread, so we had to keep the center clear for the gutter, so I wanted to do an illustration that had two seperate parts but was still one cohesive piece.
