Free Resources here: t.co/YJPMAYm5QWI made a teacup exercise for lighting. Feel free to use. Link has image, lines, psd template, and clip/psd file for exploration to see how I broke it down.
Additionally you can take the same teacup and use it to practice things like complimentary/analogous/triadic/split-complimentary/monochrome/etc color schemes. Practice small- leave the whole human body and backgrounds for when you feel comfortable with it.
