An adaption of the Sonic The Comic Online (STC-O) Issue 226 cover by me for . This has been waiting to be uploaded since January but Uni has delayed all non-educational creativity at the moment. Time to pick up the pieces and get back on track, I think.
This one uses the background of the issue cover with adjustments to shading and lighting, two more Echidna robots thrown in the background for fun (although they too originally appeared on the cover, removed before release of the art because of excess clutter) and of course, Sonic and Tikal have been removed from the foreground. It's lucky, actually - Lockley asked if the robot was drawn seperately from the rest of the image - and this is the only time i've ever drawn characters seperately for cover art. Heh heh. Sorry for the wait, man.

this looks amazing, i love the way the robots look in this. it really does look really good. and i really love the tinted shade on the robots in the background. super cool.

ooooooh. oo you've a simple but effective colouring stylesothis works well. ^^
i might suggest a slight hint of lightshading on the arm/leg parts to suggest their shape alittle more, unless the computer i'm using is messing up and darkening the image more then it is again. ox
