Download the ZIP file for an MP4 video demonstration.This is a demo to show how to create simple drop shadows. The effect is a bit basic, but hopefully it will give you some ideas and guidance. I don't promise that this is the best or only way to do it. It is simply the way that I have sometimes done so.

If you got the time (and patience), a more realistic result could be achieved by using the pony from the point of view of the light for the silhouette instead of from the point of view of the camera.

Yes, this isn't really a good example because of the way the two windows are positioned. But it's only intended to be a basic guide.
