The galaxies! wow!

Aeires In reply to spiral-staircase [2005-10-06 03:17:51 +0000 UTC]

It was only a spiral when I started. Good thing I did it backwards and zoomed out.

wonderfull job dude, it feels like i'm at the planetorium allready
i wonder what it looked like with colors ^^

Aeires In reply to TwistEd-Ky0 [2005-07-28 02:44:26 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. FE doesn't have the control that UF does but I might take a look at the gradient editor and see.

Beautiful... The monochrome really adds to it...

Aeires In reply to yellow-spot [2005-07-28 02:32:09 +0000 UTC]

Thank you. Nothing gives the depth like a good black and white.

yellow-spot In reply to Aeires [2005-08-20 14:17:21 +0000 UTC]

Yep . Now, I was looking at it again and was wondering... You used a gradient in FE to get the black and white I just have way to much trouble to get them right sometimes...

Thanks, Thelma. FE still holds it's little treasure if you're willing to nudge it.

Looks like a galaxy caught in a spider's web...... big spider

I like it. The combination of simple colors and complex patterns really works in this piece and it looks remarkably like a starry night sky, nice job!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeires In reply to heraldoftruth [2005-07-20 21:41:47 +0000 UTC]

That's a spider I don't want to meet.

Thanks for the feedback, had a lot of fun getting back into Fractal Explorer for this one.

Beautiful nebulas and spiral galaxies.

Beware with the worm holes.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeires In reply to Prometeus [2005-07-20 21:04:37 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, they can really suck you in. Bad enough I get lost in fractals without having to worry about worm holes.

very nice, i love the fractal work you did here and the detail and abstracting, good work!

Aeires In reply to mostlyhazyimagery [2005-07-20 21:03:04 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. One of these days I'm going to have to figure out how to layer these in PS. Probably why I use Ultra Fractal more than this program because it does it for you before you render the image.

totally love this one and the name goes well. it really puts me out in space and among the stars...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeires In reply to Fuelman [2005-07-20 21:17:25 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. I actually worked backwards on this one. It started as a spiral but I zoomed out for a better angle and found the other ones hidden away.

Aeires In reply to JFMuni [2005-07-20 21:22:57 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. FE is so cool in making textures like that. Would love to find something like that in UF. Thought I was close when I made Rekindled but it wasn't quite close enough to work with.

Thanks. Been a few times I've almost deleted FE to clean up the hard drive but it's a great backup when apo and UF are giving me nothing but grief.

Sometimes FE sets up a really great fractal. This is one of them!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Aeires In reply to ArtistInWaiting [2005-07-20 21:28:03 +0000 UTC]

Thank you. The thing I love the most about FE is if you keep pushing it almost always gives you something interesting. Sometimes I push a little to hard though.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtistInWaiting In reply to Aeires [2005-07-21 12:45:28 +0000 UTC]

Know what you mean about FE, I've dug into some of mine 'til all that showed was the Chaos! I like working with Q's (never can remember how to spell this, I don't bother) ChaosPRO has Q's too in more colors. Should see if I can work one up with out crashing the program. That is the program I get too excited about, my mouse gets ahead of itself and doesn't let the program finish it's number crunching. Then CP gets stubborn and refuses to do anything!

a bit too dark for my taste, but i can appreciate the amount of work that must have gone into this.
good job man. good job.
