WOW I sure did pop this out fast.
Ok, not really, I've been working on it since page 5.
I'm not entirely satisfied with the grass on panel 2 but it'll do since I enjoy and am proud of the rest of the coloring, including the clouds in panel 1. Normally my clouds suck eggs, along with everything else that isn't a character.

Heheh I didn't know the prologue would be over so quickly! xD I just noticed as soon as I saw this page colored cuz I remember you mentioning that the prologue would be black and white and the real story in color! <8D or was I dreaming? xD
Anyways, it's going great so far as always! I love the character designs and colors, especially Kailani! She looks totally awesome in many ways x3
The overall detail of the entire page is great too! Like the sky, the exterior in panel 2, the shading, the characters, everything! All the details are so amazing!

Hm... constructive criticism, let's see ...
Well this is totally a matter of preference. But maybe in scenes without obvious lighting (like the last one), you could still add some minor shading to add dimensionality?
And as far as panelling .. hm.. as far as I've noticed in comics, two panels lined up right under each other are often read one after the other, and the big panel next to them both comes after. I hope that makes some sense. Maybe with that big panel you could make it cut between the first two somehow?
If that doesn't make sense, I can show you through editing or something if you'd like. I really hope extensive explanations like that won't get on your nerves.. it seems that is the case with a sadly large amount of artists on here. :/
And to add in a positive.. I hope we get to see more of the palace grounds.

Oh no, I love Constructive Critism of all kinds as long as they tell just what to do in order to fix it. Then it's all good. I hate how some artists think they're way too good for any critique. That just saddens me.
But yeah, I do see what you're saying. I fixed it the best way I could by making it so the large panel was higher placed then the 3rd panel and that it overlaped it as well. Normally in cases like that the large panel would be directly even with the smaller panels which this one is not. But still, it leads people to confusion and that makes me agitated.
How would you recommend fixing it? Visual demonstrations are most helpful!

XDDD yeah, they do. No one really cares all that much, except Tanner, since Ambivians have nearly infinite lifespans. They only die if they're killed or die of sickness. Though most of them tend to get sick when they get older and end up dieing like that of old age. The typical lifepsan can range from 400 to 600 years. The youngest Ambivian Elder is 800 while the oldest is beyond 1,000 (no one knows her real age and she's pretty much in a dormant state anyway).
That turns out to be a major loop-hole in The Selection system. In fact, some characters have flashbacks of their old loved ones and conflicts with them afterwards. They aren't exactly forbidden to love another but they aren't allowed to become mates with them unless their Selected mate breaks their license (like a divorce) then they can become mates again with whoever they want though it would be highly disrespectful in Ambivian culture.

But isn't that awful D: Doesn't any of the youngsters complain of it? Do these marriages still end to be happy, if two ambivians live with each other for like 600 and more years?
Do the parents have anything to say to the Selection? Can they say that someone is not qualified to be the mate of their child?
Wow, Ambivian culture seriously interests me, they are such beautiful characters :3 Oh, and they is a question i forgot to ask in the earlier pages. If lord Federico is like the 2nd highest dude in the whole place, why does he get to choose with so late number? (was it 70 something...?)
