FINALLY. yes! i made me a lineart tutorial! |U so all those peeps out there who are always asking me how i do my lineart....well, heres how :3Thank you =Kuitsuku for um....not killing me yet for posting a link to your tutorial xD;
And thank you person at that font site that let me use your font

AND OH YES. If you plan on making prints of your artwork, always keep you DPI at 150-300 and above
do this before you start your lineart

Haha, well i have been drawing on the computer for a while, and it did take me about a year to get used to my tablet. But progression in art requires patience, and if people are patient while following my tutorial then i think it will help them too

My tablet doesn't have a pressure sensing tip. I know that pressure would make it better but will it turn out alright even though my lines are the same thickness all the time?

Then it will not be so dynamical. But if you train a lot, then you can get the lineart done with the pen tool to. This takes a lot of effort and practice to get going on normal speeds .

I figured out how to configure my pen. It had the ability to sense pressure but it just wasn't working on photoshop. Got it to work though and now my line art looks a lot better. Thank you so much!

i cant make my lineart smooth, even using this tutorial and the website u gave me cause i use photoshop elements, tehres no lil clipboard where i can edit the brush settitns i looked everyhwere there none >< ahwell

This is awesome but I'm having trouble working big..just wondering if this is anything to do with not having a good enough graphics card 'cos my computer goes all slow and jerky when I resize my image...
I also find my lineart is constantly shaky but I think that might be down to having a very unsteady hand >_<
Anyway, your lineart is gorgeous and I envy you for it

Um, I think a flaw in the whole "can be used by all versions" thing...
I have Elements 6.0, and I can't find any way to set the brush for lineart...
Can you help me or am I stuck?

Just click window>>brushes or hit the F5 key on your keyboard.

1st one: there is no brushes option or anything of the like on there.
2nd one: Did nothing.

You could always download a version from the pirate bay and crack it, but thats kinda illegal and you might can get a virus if you aren't protected enough. I wish you luck on your journey to getting a full photoshop. xD If you want to try and get it from the pirate bay or something like that, just give me a comment on my page and I might can help you.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't wanna go too much into piracy until I figure out which version I really need. Then again, since the legality of the whole thing is questionable, I'm kind of shying away from it.

Well, to be honest, unless you go screaming to the cops that you did it, you practically can't be caught. XD And I would recommend, for your purposes, version CS2. Easy to get and crack. So yeah, just drop me a comment if you need any help. Have a nice day!

you dont necessarily NEED a tablet. there are alot of tutorials that you dont need a tablet. someone using a mouse can draw just as good with a tablet! but good tutorial!

Un question, um, to make lineart MUST you have a tablet? I'm that ordinary person that doesn't own one and or can't afford it at the moment. So is there another way to make lineart?
