I did the lineart of the S-18/1000, used by the Italian army, and of the Japanese Bazooka type 4,
but in the end I was quite tired, the type 97 killed me, and the vertical dimension of the table become too long,
making the thumbnail uglier in viewing.

I have read, and I think it is true, that one of Germany's strategic errors consisted precisely in dispersing resources in infinite research and various productions, giving too much space to the free initiatives of the various industries,
but it must also be said that the engineeringΒ and the production standards were truly excellent.

USA had the fine Browning M2 heavy machine gun that fired the 12.7x99 cartridge, just a little lessΒ powerful thanΒ those of the anti tank rifle, I think this made the needing of an anti tank rifle less a stringent problem.

The Polish one was not Maroszek. It was called kb ppanc wz. 35 "Ur" (Polish for anti-tank rifle m35 "Ur"). It fired a 7.92 x 107 mm DS cartridge. Maroszek was a different weapon. It was a semi-automatic rifle wz. 38 that was only being introduced in 1939. However, both these weapons were designed by JΓ³zef Maroszek.

Fun Fact: Wz. 35 anti-tank rifle was called "Ur " because it was top secret weapon supposedly produced for Uruguay. To the 1st september 1939 it was hidden in boxes with the description "measuring equipment" and the Germans were really surprised by its effectiveness, it could even break through Panzer IV.
In Poland, for years it was believed that the "secrecy" of the rifle limited its use and effectiveness because it did not even have time to be delivered to the front units, but today historians call it another fiction of communism propaganda when pre-war Poland was ridiculed (e.g. cavalry attacking tanks)
and in english literature is sometimes called "Maroszek wz.35" so no error in my opinion, but I'm not an expert
and as always love Your artwork!
greetings

Thank you very much!
I read that German army put in service the captured wz,35 officially namedΒ Pzb 770(p), and a part was also sold to the Royal Italian Army, and this testifies to the goodness of the weapon.
Ridicule the heroism and the courageous defense of an Army that used everything it had available, including cavalry is antihistoric and unfairy. Among other things, the last cavalry charge in history was the victorious Italian one in Isbuscensky, against the Russians, and allowed the armies in retreat from the Don's front to exit the bag in which the Russians had circumvented it.

It was also use by german paratroopers in the taking of Eben Emael fortress, so if even elite units used it, there had to be something in it.
Polish Home Army smuggled a few rifles to England but blueprints were destroyed in september. British were never intrested in produceing it and in a year or so the become obsolite.
Oh, i've never heard about that, thanks for topic to dig in!

Thank you!.
It is true, I prepared the lineart of the Solothurn S18-1000, used by the Italians, and of the Japanese Bazooka type 4,Β then assembling the table I saw that the format made the table very high, and this would have made the thumbnail and zoom less pleasant, or I agreed that this justification pleased my laziness
