In my humble opinion, this Spanish Astra 902 loose a lot of "charm" compared to the original C96 by removing the patterns on the side of the gun. ( I think those where intended to save weight, as it was considered to be quite heavy...) Anyway as always your drawings 'and the research behind) are state-of-the-art references...

It’s insane to sort out Chinese stuff, hah. So many things from all around the world, local copies, authorized licensed production, ad hoc solutions, etc.

Indeed,Β it must have been a nightmare to supply ammunition to the army.

It was a very interesting and expansive jewel of the Swiss' tecnology,Β
and was in part designed by the Hungarian engineer PΓ l Kiraly,
the creator of the Hungarian sub-machine gunΒ  Danuvia M39
and of the Dominican's CristΓ²bal carbine, a best-seller in the central and
south AmericaΒ in the 50s.

I have been puzzling myself on the subject for some time, the weapons of the Balkan Peninsula in the Second World War were more or less the same as the more modern ones that were used in the WW1, apart from a Czechoslovak submachine gun, which however I would use in a possible Czechoslovakian table, although in reality Czechoslovakia was invaded without fighting.

It will probably be a mixture of weapons from the Scandinavian nations.

I really like Ian, he is soΒ expert, but looks very modest,
and above all has a very understandable pronunciation,
I understand everything he says, while I find it difficult to understand Othais of C & Rsenal.

The Chinese knew for sure how to arm a bigass army the best possible way! Even back in the day where there was no AK-47
