Description
This is my custom User Interface set up in ZBrush. Feel free to download it and use it.In order to use this UI Scheme, rename it and store it here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush 4.0\ZStartup\CustomUserInterface35.cfg
Notes on making your own:
-First, press Preferences: Custom UI: Enable Customization
-Move item to custom interface position – Ctrl+Alt+drag (when Enable Customize is switched on)
-Remove item from custom interface position – Ctrl+Alt+drag to Canvas (when Enable Customize is on)
-Save UI Scheme Ctrl+Shift+I

im trying to use this in 4r7 and copied everything to startup but is there something else i need to do to get it to show as when i start zbrush its the same old ui

haha, no this is on my Cintique, only a 21"...my 30" is much larger

It is the 21x I believe. Slightly older than the newest 21ux or whatever it is called.

Must be, if i ever move to better waters i plan to upgrade all my equipment.
my pc needs more ram... 3 gigs is just not cutting it for my zbrush needs.

cool! Let me know what happens with the material slots up top. Some of the matcaps I made myself so they wont load up for you. I'm hoping ZBrush just replaces them with some standard start up materials...

Tried it. Zbrush simply left those material slots empty. Not sure I will be using it, but I like some ideas. Brush picker on the right, for example, and the light positioning gismo. I see you often change the light direction to better see the forms of the model. Quite an in-depth approach.

yup, Ive seen other artists UI's and it is always cool to see what they chose to do and why. Thanks for the feedback too, glad the materials came in empty.
