Description
It's been a while since I did a character driven image with a more intimate mood. I think my last one was this, almost exactly one year ago: arthurblue.deviantart.com/art/β¦There are several possible interpretations to this one. I have my own, of course, but I'd rather not disclose it because I don't want to influence your thoughts. I'd love to read about them, though.
As always, rendered in Vue.
EDIT: this image has a prequel: arthurblue.deviantart.com/art/β¦

I like it!
It reminds me of a connection to the matrix and the view in direction to the βexitβ gives the impression like she would love to take a peek into the real world.
Fits well to the title, too - doesn't it?

Hopefully you will reveal the true meaning after some time?
I am really curious about it.

Its like a crossover between the Matrix and the Cube series. Nice look to it too.

Wow. Amazing.
The patterns on the floor and walls to me look like a computer chip, which brings to mind the phrase "ghosts in the machine."

She (the character looks like a women) seems to be in a particular room, designed to keep her in safety, to preserve her. The cable which goes out of her head, her short hair, her pure aspect, makes me think she is a synthetic creation. I shall say that it is the creation of a human who wants to make a pure, perfect being. Maybe the ideal woman for him? And he keeps her in a room where the temperature and the atmosphere are controlled, while waiting for her maturation.
Sorry for my bad english :/

Thank you for your comment, very interesting indeed. In some ways you're close to my own ideas, in others not. Really, really interesting. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.
(Your english is perfect. I'm not a native english speaker either.)

amazing work, what software did you use to model that character, i never used VUE before i know its for nature and landscape modeling is it good as a stand alone rendering application.

Thanks. The character was prepared in Poser, the cloth was made in MarvelousDesigner and both things had a touch of zbrush.
Yes, Vue is mainly suited for nature and landscape but its render engine is also good for interior renders.

It is Plato's allegory of the cave that's coming to my mind when I am looking at this. Being looked into a limited world with a limited sight we are only able to see shadows of the reality,...as long as we aren't allowed or enabled to wake up and turn our senses to where the lights (and shadows) are coming from.
However,...
This is incredibly awesome work again! Everything in it! And the most exciting part for me is how you made that light-ray and how...alive your character appears!
That's a true masterpiece!
