I started this last year, but didn't finish it, and a few days ago I thought it'd be good to finish it before today - but I didn't. >_>" All I did this year was make the lineart slightly better...At this time last year, the Edward-Elric club was trying to get enough entries for a contest, which wanted entries that involved something wintery and something unexpected. I thought of the idea for the picture really quick after seeing that ice in the first episode.
Also, (if the four years after the movie part is right - I did try looking it up, so it should be correct) Brotherhood started four years after "Conqueror of Shamballa", and I have a fanfiction (which is also unfinished...) that takes place four years after the movie, with Ed and Al finding a way to open the gate and go back to Central. Of course, this isn't what they see in my fic, but I thought the timing was interesting.
And one more thing - besides this being Brotherhood's one year aniversary, this week Brotherhood also has the same number of episodes as the first FMA series.

lol It's ok to talk. And you know I got to thinking it's the same with books that are turned into movies. Twilight is an obvious example but I remember when Howl's Moving Castle first came out I loved the movie. Then I read the book. It was SO diffrent that they each stood alone. I like both. It's when diffrent threads of the same story are too much alike that things get weird.
Oh and I tried to read a FMA book that I found at the 1/2 price bookstore. -_- I didn't even make it past the first chapter. I've had the book for several years now and still haven't read the stupid thing! lol

I've started reading the last chapters of manga online. At least for the FMA and Bleach mangas (although I haven't really tried reading Bleach from the beginning...). One day I was like, "I wonder what's happening at the end..." and then I'll find a place where I can figure out what's going on, and read from there. ^_^"

hmm... I donno. I think it's more like, different dimensions? It's not really time related... Actually, it kind'a implies that the two group are actors (note Ed's line), which wouldn't make it different dimensions or times.
