Description
A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for Armada Skywarp downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]Well, this was supposed to go up a LOOOONG time ago. This was originally supposed to be a companion piece to my Arm Starscream-repainted-into-Skyfire (Cartoon & Comic version of the G1 Jetfire toy, you can see my repaint of him here: [link] ). This one is Arm Skywarp-repainted-into-Jetfire (What the actual toy looked like). Why has this been sitting in my hard drive for so long, seeing as how Skyfire was in one of my first batches of repaints? Simple, because I had this thing completely done, all but his Minicon’s robot mode. And I just kept putting it off and putting it off. Eventually I finished it, but I was waiting for a similar batch of repaints to group him with so he wouldn’t stand out to much. Well that never happened and since I’m finishing and sticking up all my previous WIP’s and rejected pics, I decided now was as good a time as any. This is one of the few “rejects” that I’m actually proud of, and I really should have had him up here in his proper spot long ago.

Artwork is © Hasbro, only colored by me (and halfassed at that) in plain ol' MS paint.

Pretty nifty. I like how you kept the more kick-ass looking remold of this guy for the more angular and military-looking version of Skyfire/Jetfire. And for the life of me I can't understand why you kept putting this off because of the Mini-Con of all things. He's almost all white with next to nothing paint aps-wise.

I know, I can't believe it took this long to release this too. I barrely had to do a damn thing to it. but when I eventually DID have it finished, I was working on the various projects, (Actionmaster then Gestalt) and the repaints i released in between them all had a similar "theme", and he just didn't fit in, so he kept getting put off. I really wish I could have released him right after Skyfire because i think you'd really see the similarities and differences between these guys when they're side by side. As for using this mold for Jetfire, i had originally planned on using Starscream as a Skyfire/Jetfire, but this mold just had too much in common with the actual toy, whereas Starscream's mold just matched the cartoon version much better, so I decided to do one for each.
