Third entry into the “Gestalt Project” Aerialbots is Skydive. In my opinion, the best of the group. On the 1-4 scale, he’s the 4. I’m actually quite surprised with how well this one turned out, especially since Starscream’s mold wasn’t my original choice for this figure. In the end though, I think it’s clear that this is the mold this homage belongs on. While the jet modes style might be slightly different, and a few colors may be distributed a little more or less then they should be, this is as close to perfect for a new Skydive figure we could ever get. Please forgive my crappy attempts to duplicate Skydive’s original wing decals. Mine suck, and are inconsistent from pic to pic, but it should give you an idea of how good it could look if actually done properly on the toy. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with how this guy turned out, and hopefully everyone else is too. The crowning glory of the “Gestalt Project” Aerialbots, if I do say so myself. Yep, you heard me…2 entries left and it ain’t gonna get any better then this, sorry.
