Entry:
Thanks to the sugar in its eye-like berries, it brims with energy, and can’t stay quiet for a second. It is very curious, and will desperately chase anything that it observes moving within its line of sight, but because it lacks self control, its strong swinging vines end up destroying everything around itself most of the time. For the danger it poses to humans and pokémons alike, the jungles on which they grow are considered forbidden grounds.

Those Unown-like arms were actually an accident. The vines were supposed to be dark green innitialy, but it didn't look very good, and it's pre-evos had dark blue roots anyway. Which is fine by me, they look really funny now. XD

I was going to work on Guaranargus right after I had posted Guaraneye, but I was uncertain on how to go about it... Guaranargus was supposed to be an intentionaly ugly pokémon, a Garbodor of my Generation if you will, but Guaraneye was an unexpected hit for me and a lot of people liked it, so I felt kinda bad to make it evolve into a Malboro-like abomination. I hope this design achieved a good balance between my original intention and some of it's pre-evo's cuteness.
