Description Another week, another fakemon. This time the main pokemon used by my region's evil team. You know, that
early game dark type pokemon almost every generation has.

Name: Marmothief (Marmoset + Thief)
Type: Normal/Dark
Species: Thief Pokémon
Ability: Evil Intent*/ Prankster/ (Hidden: Infiltrator)

*Evil Intent: Gives a higher priority to Dark type moves.

Height: 0,35m (1'14'')
Weight: 0,8kg (1,7 lbs)

Entry:

Marmothief are natural born thieves, and like to steal things from humans or other pokémons just for the fun of it. They begin their training stealing berries and food from their targets, and when they become good enough, they start to plan more complex heists. They live in small communities on trees, and it said that near every community a huge stack of food and valuable goods lies hidden.

-Marmothief's evolutive line its still a mystery...for now-

Potential Moveset:
Bite
Scratch
Fury Swipes
Fake Out

Marmothief is, not surprisingly, based on a marmoset, the cutest little things on earth. Pictures if you have never seen one: [link] [link]
As with every type of monkey that lives near humans, marmosets are known to develop thieving habits if they become too spoiled
from receiving food from humans. If you've seen the movie "Rio" that may sound a little familiar.
Because of that, it fittingly became the thief pokemon!...Although arriving a little late to the party since Salandit is already revealed...Hmm...
The design is based on a stylized marmoset and an urban thief wearing a hoodie. It also wears some kind of shackles in its tails and hands,
since it's a criminal after all, maybe taking a little note from its simian cousin Primeape. On the other side, its shiny version is based on its very
rare cousin, the Golden Lion Tamarin: [link]

So, did you liked it? How do you imagine it in battle? Tell me everything in the comments below!
See you guys next time!

Does it evolve or prevolve? both?

It evolves once, it's the Poochyena equivalent for the region. Early game dark-type pokemon.

Who would win in a fight between Marmothief and Bewear ?

Bewear is a fighting type, so with that x4 weakness to fightning Marmothief is pretty much screwed...
But well, Marmothief is still the first in its evolutionary family, so it's obviously pretty weak. It's final evolution will be quite bulky and speedy at the same time, and while it will still be pulverized by Bewear, maybe it can still do some damage or inflict some status effect before switching or fainting.

It looks very cute, like the animal it is inspired to! X3
The concept is simple but it works nicely. And I really like the fact that its shiny form is inspired to another similiar monkey. I'm really curious about the evolution, I can somewhat picture it and I think it will look cool.

Thanks a bunch!
They're really cute aren't they? Sometimes you can still find one around here jumping about the electric cables with friends, and the whole street stops just to watch them being cute. =w=
I won't say much to not spoil the surprise, but it actually becomes a bit weird on its final evolution hehe. If in it's first stage it's more like a lowly thief, imagine the final one being more like a crime lord of sorts...

No cute monkeys roaming around where I live, just pidgeons. xP
I crime lord uh! That sounds like something I would totally dig, now I'm even more curious. :0

Without a moveslist, I can't imagine it in battle, sorry.

I didn't exactly write a movelist for it myself, but then there's the obvious stuff I would almost certainly include like Scratch, Thief, Sucker Punch, Parting Shot...
