Type: Normal/Flying
Species: Ditty Pokémon
Ability: Vocalizer*/ Soundproof/ (Hidden: Sing Along*)
*Vocalizer= Increases damage caused by sound-based moves
*Sing Along= When another Pokémon uses a sound-based move, the user can use the same move following it regardless of its Speed.
Height: 0,35m (1'15")
Weight: 1,1 kg (2.4 lbs)
Entry:
A pokémon beloved as a symbol of the Tupama region, known for its distinct singing voice. Studies show that Thrusings memorize thousands of melodies during its life span, which they combine to form their own unique compositions. When a Thrusing starts singing in another’s territory, they form a duet instead of competing, matching their tone and rhythm with each other.
-Thrushing -> Lv. ? -> ????? -> Lv. ? -> ?????
Potential Moveset:
Hyper Voice
Supersonic
Disarming Voice
Gust
Gen 8 didn't do wonders to restore my enthusiasm for these, but the new pokémon were nice, so at least one more won't hurt.
Tupama's very own Route 1 bird. He's a good boy, don't drop him in the box.
Thrusing is based on Brazil's national bird, the Rufous-bellied thrush . It's famous for it's iconic singing, being mentioned several times in literature and poetry during the country's history. It's also a pretty common sight as well, so it makes sense for it to be the common bird of the region.
The shiny version is based on another singing bird, the Campo troupial .
I considered incorporating the Sound-type in the region just for him, but I at this point I think any more types are just unnecessary.
...Sound-based moves sure do have a lot of support nonetheless, huh?
Hope you all liked it, and see you guys next time!

I like it! Fan I'd buy a Pokemon fan game comprised of Fan made pokemon. I assume that exists somewhere.

Thanks a bunch!
Well, there are a bunch of fan-games out there, so...
...Most of them end up abandoned or are taken down by nintendo, but still, the fakemon sure are great!

Indeed they are although I do like the pokemon inspired games. There's a couple of them for the switch that look promising.

this is so cool. Love the idea of them singing together rather than fighting for territory

In an alternate world, maybe regional Thrusing compete in rap battles instead.

Thrushes are great, although this one seems to be more of a mockingbird with its vast repertoire.
Funnily enough, Gen 8 actually introduced an ability that basically acts as a Life Orb for sound-based moves (exclusive to Toxtricity, I think). Probably just a fun coincidence that I wanted to touch on, ha ha.

Concept-wise it's a mix between many different birds, including the mockingbird and the musician wren!
Yeah, I was aware of it was well! Sound-based moves suspiciously have a lot of support, it's almost an unofficial type already!
