The Old King would come ashore as he stepped out from the cold ocean waters onto Iwato Island. He remained silent for the most part as he traveled further inland on the rocky outcrop, nobody in sight. He would be suddenly ambushed from the ground by his old friend, Anguirus. Seeing the return of an age-old tradition between the two, the two would essentially fight for hours on end, not as vicious as normal combat, but more-so akin to roughhousing. After several minutes of roughhousing with Godzilla emerging the victor, both kaiju would regain their composure. Anguirus would be elated with the return of his old friend to which they'd briefly catch up with him question The Old King as to where he had went, with Anguirus essentially providing Godzilla with what had occurred over the last several decades.
Godzilla would explain that he was dead for several decades, he was back now and he was eventually going to reclaim his old title back as King of The Monsters. The two would essentially agree as Anguirus would relay that the current King did not care for these extraterrestrial infected mutations and saw it none of his business to get involved. Though Shodai Godzilla was displeased and infuriated at the arrogance of his supposed successor for a moment, but he would get back to the matter on hand. There was a new threat coming and he needed his greatest ally. In addition, they would sense a new disturbance appearing in the south to which his armored accomplice made note on sensing it as well. As such, Godzilla and Anguirus would leave Iwato Island together, making their way out into the sea, with The Old King not pleased at this unknown challenger disrupting the balance of nature.
Numerous fishing vessels in the Sea of Okhotsk would witness Godzilla and his companion as they had begun traveling south with Monarch satellite imaging estimating a convergence point in Yokohama with this unknown signal as well as Rodan and King Caesar. Gamera and Mothra would have also been noted to have vanished over the Pacific off of Monarch's radar. However, witnesses are providing sightings of whatever is causing this unusual blip on Monarch's radar, to which there have been reports of an unusual blue flashing light from beneath the ocean, similar those prior to when a YOG mutation appears but much larger and much brighter.
