When a large egg was retrieved by King Kong, following one of his recent scuffles with a Gorosaurus, it was brought to the Kong's lair in order to be protected while also granting Monarch staff in the observation facility an oportunity for it to be studied, However, this egg had proven to be more troublesome than most kaiju eggs as it constantly emitted interfering frequencies that appeared to not only make long-distance communication difficult, but it typically lured in predators

Not long after the recent Gorosaurus attack that had damaged the egg, it would finally hatch. The massive hairline fracture that crawled across the eggshell's surface cracked even further as the egg's red flash changed to a familiar cerulean blue, it was now understood why Kong's troop was so defensive before. It was the egg of another Alpha Titan. A baby Godzilla. Emerging from the egg's amniotic fluid, the infant would essentially force it's way out of the egg as the various Kongs in the troop remained cautious, holding the youngsters back while King Kong himself, watched the infant carefully with a stoic expression.

Monarch operatives in Outpost 33 were provided with the opportunity of a life time as they had in their presence an infant Godzilla. One of the rarest opportunities for any Monarch biologist. They could only observe as the infant shook bits of fluid and eggshell off of itself before approaching the Kongs. With the alpha Kong's own approval, the other Kongs relaxed in the presence of the infant. From what could be observed, it appeared that the massive ape had essentially adopted the hatchling as it seemingly had imprinted on the massive hominid, typically having observed remaining close to him since his hatching.

In either sense, Minilla or Minya as dubbed by Dr. Darrow has caused a shift among the island's fauna as from what can be seen, Minilla's hatching has restored the other fauna's behavior to relative normalcy, with the Gorosaurus' no longer acting erratic, returning to a more passive state. On a side note, there was a matter of debate within the Monarch's ranks on what to do with Minya. Some believed that the infant should be destroyed, as it was very much possible that when the time came, he may very well be a threat to mankind, just as most other Godzilla specimens have proven to be, while others such as Dr. Ishiro Serizawa believed that the infants more benevolent nature could very well lead to it becoming a potential "Guardian Kaiju", such as Mothra or Gamera. In addition, there was also the question on why any adult Godzilla specimens haven't sensed the infant yet, to which remains unknown as Shodai Gojira has disappeared for several months since its battle against YOG in Yokohama.

In addition, there been a recent development around the Mondo Island Emergence Point [MIEP] leading to the Hollow Earth as at night, there have been recordings of an unknown distant vocalization from within the cavern, drawing closer, raising a level of concern as to whether a Hollow Earth kaiju may have been drawn to the surface by the infant to which defense protocols are on standby.

Atomic Smoke Rings. Incapable of firing a fully-developed Atomic Breath yet.
Noted absorbing radiation from various radiation wells around the island.
Has a particular fondness for various types of megaflora, typically enjoying Solgellactin super-berries, large yellow fruit that are highly nutritious for the herbivorous species on the island.
Noted to be quite vulnerable as his soft, light-gray skin has yet to grow more durable and darken.
Possesses similar regenerative healing as other Godzilla specimens.
Incredibly dopey. Has a fascinating kinship with an infant albino Kong dubbed "Kiko"
