Once a normal population of sea creatures possibly a simple species of rubble crab, Ganimes was the result of being infected and mutated by the YOG parasite. Once a isolated species that is now spread across the planet, Ganimes act as one of the main infected kaiju that have attacked coastal areas along the Indian-Pacific Ocean. The first recorded instance being off the coast of Western India. However, since the increasing frequent upscale in sightings, Ganimes have been sighted to now as far as Indonesia. They've been labeled however as a bio-hazard as per the high presence of ammonia present when an individual dies shortly after making landfall.

When Monarch had detected several of these crustaceans appearing off the coast of Infant Island, it had raised some alarms due to the native population of people who stayed on the island. However, even as several of these massive crabs had begun attacking the local villages and devouring the people in a frenzy, they would be taken by surprise by the sudden appearance of a blinding light from the island's peaks that drew closer every moment.

Flapping her multi-colored colored wings as golden scales burned at the numerous crustacean's shells, causing them to retreat, the indigenous kaiju of the island, Mothra had emerged to protect her worshippers, and she was not happy at this intrusion.

Documented Attributes:
Heavily armored Carapace; providing both protection and camouflage
Amphibious
Ganimes blood will quickly convert to ammonia upon contact with oxygen which can quickly render an entire area toxic if left unattended
Lacks intelligence, allowing it to easily be defeated in battle.
Highly Aggressive. Like all specimens infected like Gezora and Kamoebas, Ganimes appears to be highly aggressive.
Powerful claws. Capable of cutting through steel and concrete with relative ease.
Can spit a stream of condensed boiling water at an opponent, similar in a manner to a riot hose.
Like Gezora, Ganimes is documented to have a distaste for ultrasonic frequencies as it appears they have a disorienting effect on them.
Holds an unusual resemblance toward Ebirah, despite having completely different genetic templates. Possible horizontal gene transference?
