Description I know because of my learnings.

Actually I just work at a greyhound rescue but WHATEVER I'll kick this back to scraps in a couple of days. It's obviously just a pretty quick thing I doodled up tonight after my shift.

this is so funny xD
but i also have a question, i have a puppy (well, around 6 months) and i think he has some greyhound in him but i'm not sure [link]
he has a really pointy chest.. well pretty much everything but his face
aaand he goes really fast in just a few seconds xD

If he's a mixed breed, definitely looks like he has some sighthound in him, that deep chest and curved tail give it away. Probably crossbred with a terrier of some sort. He's a cutie!

This is cool! (and this isn't Feebler it's her mom, she left herself logged on!) We have three retired greyhounds at home, we've had a total of 5 over the years, they are the best dogs!

I laughed so much at this. XD

My neighbor's rescue greyhound is sooo shy but I have been able to pet him and I can attest to the so soft ears. ^^

Oh, this makes me really miss my Grey! She was just like this (even made that awesome running face XD). She passed away in May (had a series of strokes, of all things) and is greatly missed. This reminds me so much of all her antics and I'm giggling like a fool in the middle of class. haha..

I know this 80 pound retired racing Greyhound. When he's excited(like when the food's taken out, or when he's about to be let out for a walk) He jumps a full vertical six feet up. All four legs off the ground. He's a little puppy inside of an 80-pound 40-mile-an-hour shell.

dauntingfire [2011-06-29 07:30:33 +0000 UTC]

Oh man I love greyhounds, this is fantastic! :') I would love to rescue one but I worry about finding one that won't chase the kitties. I know not all of them react badly to cats but it's a concern.

The 'woe' face is so right. A friend of mine has an italian greyhound and it always looks like it's concern-faced. X)

I ramble, but anyways, this is SO cute!

Hi Mona,

I don't have a particularly nice printer to make a good copy, but since it's digital I could send you a large, high-res file if you give me your e-mail and you can have it printed in whatever size you like.

candeclaus In reply to aureath [2011-07-24 20:31:09 +0000 UTC]

Mona hasn't been able to get on line and asked me to get back with you. Is there a way to privately contact you to get an email addy to you? I'm new to this site so bear with me if I seem stupid about it!

Thanks much
Cheryl... a greyhound freak!

This is pretty much completely accurate. The only thing missing is the 1 ear up, 1 ear sideways position that seems to mean, "There's something up ahead"

ALWAYS WOE FACE. ALWAYS.

This is a wonderful and beautifully accurate summary, it made me highly pleased.
