A really awesome scene and perspective!
All the chaos is just perfect for this picture and represents the brutality of war.
I am sorry for all the flying soldiers D:
And the focus on the far away people is really nice and I wonder, what happens, when Aveza finally reaches them.....maybe a tea party?

Thanks ^^ This was like the most famous battle of the entire War of 1812, so I wanted to make sure I drew it in an epic fashion lol
And yes. A tea party with a lot of ketchup XD

Ah, the Battle of New Orleans the battle that many Americans site as us winning the War of 1812 (even though we didn't and we lost 50% of the Battles. Sure we won alot but we mostly lost...and besides the war was technically over when this took place) But you know, let them have their pride. Also this is the battle that at the time made Andrew Jackson an American Hero and stuff. Even though he was an ass "But he defend New Orleans" But he was an ass "B-but he was the first Democrat President" but he was an ass. "But-" shh, Jackson was an ass, period. So, I have a hypothetical question XD. What If this year, Ubisoft releases a trailer for the next Assassin's Creed game ( even though judging from the ending of Assassin's Creed Origins, this isn't the case) and it's set during the War of 1812...what If the Assassin's fought with the Americans and supported them and not the British. Personally I would be mad, if be happy that's it set in the War of 1812, a usually unexplored time period but I'd be mad that my fanfiction and lore is ruined now. How would you feel though?

I'd admittedly be a bit sad All the work I put into these fanfics for the past two years would be kinda upheaved XD But then again, it might not be. If they were to use different targets than I use in Anthem, for example, then I'd still be able to preserve a lot of the story. I have a friend over on the AC Amino who shares his fanfic universe with mine, and his 1812 OC mostly focuses on taking down Templar influence on the British side as opposed to Aveza, who fights Templars influencing the American side. So honestly his story would probably be more at stake since a canon story like that would probably use all the targets that he uses XD

Yeah I guess that could work. I mean didn't Avenza take out Sir Isaac Brock who was a famed British Soldier? So I mean it goes to show that the Templars weren't on just one side of the War. Overall the whole war was a mess. One thing I'm trying to do is figure my WWI Assassin OC and my WWII Assassin OC. My WWII one is easy because he's my Grandfather but the WWI one is my Great Grandfather. Only problem is I don't know much about him. I've been researching things about him. He did fight in WWI in the American Army, he was at the Battle of Belleau Wood which the Americans won and he actually did Vista the White house and did meet President Wilson (though him having tea with him is my own thing XD) he said that the President was very genuine in trying to find a peaceful solution to the War and that's about it. Didn't go into depth. But his childhood, his life before that nothing. Though he was very Patriotic, heh guess it runs in the Family.

That's cool
I have a lot of military history in my family too. Priscilla's grandfather was a member of the Continental Army who fought at Eutaw Springs. Her father and uncle were soldiers in 1812. And her son was a Union soldier during the Civil War (we have a few scraps of his war friend's journal, and according to the writings, my ancestor was a really nice man who did his best to make all his fellow soldiers laugh even in the worst times. He was the kind of guy who just wanted people, all people, to smile a bit more)
After that though it isn't as honorable My great-grandfather got a purple heart from surviving D-Day, but according to my dad, he was kind of an ass who just kinda joined the army to get away from his parents. My grandfather is a Vietnam veteran but he hated being in war and he was one of those soldiers who didn't exactly get a warm welcome when he came home. He made sure to do everything he could to prevent my dad and aunt from ever being inevolved with the military.

Yeah my Dad served in Vietnam too. He wasn't drafted he joined on his own accord...but he wishes he didn't. He loves his country just as much as I do but he regrets going over there. The things he saw he'd rather not talk about. He lost his entire squad and all his buddies died. Not to mention because of the Vietnam War protests, he didn't receive a nice welcome home. I wish he did. My Father is a nice guy with a heart of gold. So it's a shame. My family actually stretches back a very long way back. No joke, the first ever Bux (my last name) was in Ancient Greece. Apparently there was a town named Buxington back then, it might be spelled different in Greek, but a guy came to the town and took the first three letters out of the name, B-U-X. And from then on the Bux Family was born. It's very awesome. I want to find out more about my ancestors...so I can make more OC'S XD. But also to know my family's history.

Well hey, that's cool A lot of my OCs are based on my family tree. I've been doing genealogy as a hobby for a few years now, so I know quite a few stories from my DNA. The earliest two ancestors of mine that I know of are from the Renaissance era. Arbogast Spaenhauer was my ancestor from Switzerland who is said to have played a big part in the Protestant Reformation in his area. I even have the family coat of arms
The other is the only person in my family tree who's famous enough to have a Wikipedia page XD His name was John Alden, one of the big names on the Mayflower

That is so awesome. Hey, I was wondering when I finally come up with all the details of my WWI Assassin OC, can you make an OC refrence sheet? Not forcing you too, if you can't then hey its okay. It's perfectly fine. It's just your OC reference sheets are on point. You know. It's up to you. I know you're a busy person.

Glad you're enjoying it I still find it hard to believe this project is almost over lol. Like, it's Aphelion and then a couple short stories and then it's on to the final main fanfic (which I'm in the process of writing rn lol) And then Project Thunderbird will finally reach it's conclusion. Like, I'll probably do other fanfics after that in the future, but this arch is really special to me. I've been working on it for over two years now XD

Hey, you've come a long way. It was an amazing ride. I've certainly enjoyed your stories. Don't forget about your Assassin's though History project, that's still going. And with more and more events happening each year who knows how long that will be. So think of the positives

I haven't beaten it yet though I am nearing the end. I just got past the point where they discover who the Lion is.
I gotta say, I'm really enjoying the game It's a lot of fun and the characters are really enjoyable. The only real complaint I have is that it kinda forces you to grind through a bunch of side quests and crafting in order to progress through the story. Like, there were cases where I have to grind for hours just to get to the next cutscene (like right now lol). It kinda takes the player out of the flow and it gives this sort of whiplash effect that you generally want to avoid when writing stories. Other than that though, it's a really good game

Yeah very, I agree with you on that. I finished the game, so I won't spoil. But how do you feel about working with Julius Caesar? Personally, it's awesome. I love any cutscenes with him. I think they did him very well. Overall I love the game

Well my high school Latin class made me a total nerd for all things Roman, so seeing Caesar is pretty cool. Though all I can think of in the back of my mind is "#TeamBrutus ", which was a running gag in our class XD

In Brutus's defense, he really really didn't want to stab Caesar Caesar was like a father to him. But Brutus knew Caesar would've stripped the people and the republic of their say in things. He was becoming to greedy. And ironically, them killing Caesar ended up setting the stage for the Empire to rise anyway.

Yeah, guess you're right. Maybe it's because he was betrayed and how gruesome he died kinda puts a sour taste in my mouth. Ah Irony, you cruel mistress. Fall of a Republic and Rise of an Empire.

Yeah that was awesome, you're the one who got the other senators to stab him. Though I will admit, seeing Caesars expression hurt my heart especially when he said "You too, my child?" What did you think of his death scene. What I liked is that it showed that Aya respected Caesar. When she placed the sword on his chest it's like saying "I may have had to kill you in the end... but I won't forget the time we fought side-by-side....I hope you find peace Caesar". I teared up a bit, not gonna lie

It could've been a lot sadder XD A lot of historical accounts say that in addition to saying "You too, my child?", he also kinda just curled up in his toga and accepted his fate when he realized Brutus was one of the conspirators. Brutus ended up committing suicide out of his guilt a few years later too.

Damn, now that's sad. Oh my. Though Aya becoming Amunet...I was like "Really now? Ok, that's totally not forced or cheesy" But hey whatever. I heat that the next one will be in Greece so as long as I get to explore Athens I'm good.

Ikr? XD I was expecting Amunet to be like their daughter or something. You had this big dramatic ending with killing Caesar and telling off Cleopatra and starting the bureau system and Ezio's Family and everything and then just... "I am now Amunet". I honestly almost laughed XD
