So I figured I should go ahead and draw Bayek since I'm just as hyped for Assassin's Creed: Origins as everyone else in the fandom XD Grant it, I know I shouldn't overhype it because then I'll end up being disappointed. Honestly, as long as we don't get another Syndicate I'll probably like it fine I'm just hoping for a fun game with a good story and characters, with a little bit of education on the side.

To be entirely honest, I was kinda disappointed when I first heard it was gonna be set in Ptolemaic Egypt instead of… you know, ancient Ancient Egypt XD All this talk from Ubisoft of how it's soooo far back in time that it forced them to rethink the entire concept of what an Assassin is… and it's not even set before the most ancient piece of lore we have I mean, Darius killed Xerxes I centuries before Bayek lived. I was expect them to go SUPER far back, like during Tutankhamun's reign or the reign of his father, Akhenaten. Far back enough that they might even be able to mix in some old myths and legends like Moses and the Exodus. But instead we get Cleopatra… who wasn't even Egyptian XD She was Greek.

But oh well. As long as it's a good story and fun characters, I won't mind I do understand their decision to make it this time period. More buildings to climb, more historical events to take place in, all that good stuff. I'm actually kinda excited. This is a time when Egypt was in the middle of a Civil War, when the three biggest ancient civilizations of Rome, Egypt, and Greece, collided in a political and cultural mess. Like, imagine how awesome it would be if we got to chop off Pompey's head during his exile in Egypt and ship it back to Caesar? That would be so cool! ^^ It'd certainly be better than Syndicate, which kinda just says “Here's Victorian London. Google all these people and locations if you want to learn about them. We're too lazy to actually teach you about any history or get you sorta involved in it ourselves.”

Seriously, you know they just ran out of ideas when they have you kill the guy who invented the kaleidoscope XD Not that you would know that he did because THE GAME DOESN'T TEACH YOU.

But I digress lol

Anyways, I am really excited for Origins and I'm excited to see what they do with the story. I really hope that Bayek has some sort of fatherly role to Amunet in the game. How awesome and cute would that be?! >u< Omg I would love that!

But I guess we'll just have to wait and see what's in store ^^
