(...Yes I know it's late don't look at me-)

Junior's always looking for someone to play with, and Dalex was no exception. All it took was one mention from Lemmy for Junior to come running, and Dalex has always had a soft spot for the young'uns, so he couldn't say no.

It was either that, or it was because Junior's the prince and he didn't wanna piss Bowser off. >w>"

Watching over Junior was a bit of a struggle for Dal at first. Sure, he'd babysat before, so he knew that kids Junior's age had boundless energy, but a kid armed with a magic paintbrush? THAT was a first. Even more so considering that the little guy could use his brush like a pro, while Dal still had no idea how to use his own, despite likely owning his brush for longer than Junior had his.

No one wants to get mocked, especially by a little kid, so Dalex chose to keep his paintbrush a secret. Whenever Junior used his, Dalex would watch every move, and make a note to practice the same thing whenever he was alone. He tried making the goopy Piranha Plants, but they always came out small, cute, and harmless. He tried making the goo balls with eyes, but they always came out small. He would've attempted the paint portals as well, but he already knew that those wouldn't work.

It was disheartening, but hey, at least Dalex got a chance to practice in a way other than "just swing it around and see what happens." Alas, some secrets can't stay hidden forever, as Dalex was soon caught by Junior himself. Sneaky little bugger had followed Dal one day, and the squeal he let out probably broke a few windows.

Sorry, papa, but finding a paintbrush buddy is more important than some dirty old stained glass!
