I've gotten a lot of questions these past few weeks about what exactly does a "storyboard artist" in tv animation actually do.Well in short, we translate the script to what you see on screen. This encompasses everything from staging the characters and BG into compositions, acting, camera movement, lighting, fight choreography, etc.
I hope this clears it up.
If you ever want to learn how to do this, I teach this and more over at the Concept Design Academy in Pasadena every semester. (Shameless plug, I know....)

That's exactly what I thought too looking at all of these, I'm like.. I like your poses better. But the final result still looks really really good!
