I've gotten a lot of questions these past few weeks about what exactly does a "storyboard artist" in tv animation actually do.Well in short, we translate the script to what you see on screen. This encompasses everything from staging the characters and BG into compositions, acting, camera movement, lighting, fight choreography, etc.
I hope this clears it up.
If you ever want to learn how to do this, I teach this and more over at the Concept Design Academy in Pasadena every semester. (Shameless plug, I know....)

Is it fair to say that story board artists are used at the conceptual level on most live action movies as well? -that would be a fabulous place to be career-wise; I'm jealous!

1st time i saw that fight scene,i jumped out of my chair,and watched over and over again,i cant tell you how much i love this scene,wonder woman was fighting with wwe style,the elbow and the submission,man its the best fight scene i've ever watched,amazing story board and the animation was perfect

Thanks so much! It was a challenge to come up with the choreography and the fighting style of each JL character and how their evil counterpart was similar but different at the same time.

you guys took care of every single detail in this movie,like you always do in any other dc movie,which makes it the best out there,everything was perfect,dc will always amuse fans like me as long as people like you workin on the project,would love to see more and more work from dcu cuz simply i dont get enough

We really take pride in the work we do because we know that there have been sooo many great artists before us that have paved the way for someone like myself.
I'm just trying to live up to the big shoes I have to fill as well as contribute my own sensibilities and things that I always wanted to see when I was a kid and a fan. ( like Wonder Woman doing a Greco Roman Suplex on Superwoman)
