**THIS AND PART 11 ARE MY TWO FAVORITE OF THE MOVIE**I've gotten a lot of questions these past few weeks about what exactly does a "storyboard artist" in tv animation actually do.
Well in short, we translate the script to what you see on screen. This encompasses everything from staging the characters and BG into compositions, acting, camera movement, lighting, fight choreography, etc.
I hope this clears it up.
If you ever want to learn how to do this, I teach this and more over at the Concept Design Academy in Pasadena every semester. (Shameless plug, I know....)

Really dynamic compostions and choregraphy, a lot of established comic book artists could do with this training for when they have to do fight scenes.

I'm sure it's a publicity stunt to draw in new readers and stir things up with old ones. It's happened with all major characters at one point in their lives.
Superman's black costume and mullet look after he died to Doomsday
Spiderman's black costume and crimson spider outfit (now that I think of it, Spidey had that IronMan made armor for a time during the whole Civil War thing)
Aquaman had that crazy "underwater camo" suit for a time.. even the long hair and hook hand was a departure to the original design.
these costume change things are inevitable... but for some reason, they always end up going back to the classic look because it's iconic.

Maybe the heroes are having a "middle-age" crisis when they change costume XD Just so they could feel younger and "hippier".
