Description
After a Volume reupload and a bit of IRL drama (it happens), I finally have a brand new Concepts! For these next few Concepts, we'll be digging through the LionHeartKing Wikia to see what little treasures lie inside. It's a little gold mine of ideas and inspiration, some more complex than others. One of the best parts is that most of these concepts have vague-to-basic templates/descriptions of templates. This leaves a lot of room for interpretation, as you can see with the card we're reviewing, so I can enhance the designs of these Concepts ( ).

The credit for this simple little Concept goes to (not only for the Concept, but giving me a brain re-calibration). If you've my Card Concept reviews, you'll notice that not all of our Concepts are really "short and sweet" (or pink, really...that was LHK's idea). Enhance Monsters are a lot less complex in that they only need so much to really be effective. Enhance Monsters reside in the Extra Deck, have a Level *fake cough* Ophion & Towers; and go to the Graveyard when they leave the field. All you need to do for an Enhance Summon is 1 monster equipped with at least 1 Equip Spell...
That's it, send them to the Graveyard and Summon your monster.

Just a few things of note: You can use Union Monsters equipped to a monster to Summon an Enhance Monster, and you can use cards that are just "equipped" to said monster such as Armory Arm. An Enhance Monster may ask you for a specific card to Summon it with, but other times it won't specify. However, as in the case of our example card, if you still use a specific Equip Spell that is listed then you'll get some special bonuses. Other than that, there aren't any other mechanic-based bonuses and they mainly are on a card-to-card basis at this point. Our example monster negates your opponent's Traps upon attack, which is always good. If you happen to use Cyber Shield as the Equipped material, Harpie Glyph Mistress becomes a big recycle tool. You can shuffle a Harpie Harpist back into your Deck, add a Harpie Channeler or Queen to your hand, use Channeler to Summon more Harpies or use Queen to get Hunting Grounds. Both give you a new monster to shuffle back into your Deck. Glyph Mistress is also Level 7, which kinda synergizes with Harpie's Pet Dragon.

This is actually an altered version of LHK's original card, but I decided to reduce the amount of effects on it to give the card more of an identity. Otherwise, that's about it for Enhance Monsters. It's nice to have a simple Summoning Method to review once in a while; it takes a bit less to find the perks of the mechanic itself and directs the power into the cards and their effects. Regardless, it was a nice Concept to review from the LHK Wiki and there will be more on the table. Heck, if our next concept were real you'd be throwing your money at Konami to get it.

Harpie Glyph Mistress (WIND)
Level: 7
[Winged Beast/Enhance/Effect]
Lore: "Harpie Lady" + 1 Equip Spell Card
Once per turn, if this card attacks an opponent's monster: Your opponent cannot activate Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. If this card used "Cyber Shield" as an Enhance Material: It gains the following effect.
● If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle: You can add 1 "Harpie" monster from your Deck to your hand, and if you do, shuffle 1 "Harpie" monster from your Graveyard into the Deck.
ATK: 2500 DEF: 800
