Description Just a quick little tutorial. Took me about an hour from photographing the steps to typing them all up.

I'm sure this information is out there in plenty of other places, but I still feel like a ninja every time I do this and figured you awesome followers of mine might want to know this too.

Here's some examples of plushies with small parts I've used this method for:

I also use this for all my narwhal horns

Edit: Fixed a typo. If you see any more let me know. Photoshop lacks spell check!

Ooh! I haven't tried making any plushies in a few years, but thin parts like ears and tails always frustrated me. Maybe if I have time to later I'll try this.

A wonderfull tutorial!
but I ask myself who needs a tuto for this task...do it eversince the way you show here x3

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BeeZee-Art In reply to Ganjamira [2013-04-15 18:36:59 +0000 UTC]

It's just to show people how to do it who haven't done it before because they either didn't know or didn't think of it. The pictures help, it can be difficult to explain in words. Once you know how to do it, you don't need a tutorial anymore. Only the first time or in case you forgot.

Of course, of course. It was more a silly thought than a real question x3

ummm.
what kind of fabric do you use for your plushies?:00

BeeZee-Art In reply to hikari-cherry09 [2013-04-15 14:14:12 +0000 UTC]

Mostly anti-pill and polar fleece. I also use flannel, normal cotton cloth, and (rarely) batik.

It works really well for fingers because they are usually so small and a pain.

i kind of want to cry now. i used to just poke using the stick method and it keeps hurting my nails. thank you so much for sharing this method. it'll give people like me less hand problems. wished i used it earlier i really appreciate this

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BeeZee-Art In reply to Rilavus [2013-04-15 03:48:02 +0000 UTC]

I used to just pose the stick too! And then it would get all bunched up in the end and I would try to force it inside out anyway and the material would get all stretched and I'd try to turn it right side out to try again and it wouldn't go and then the seams would start to rip and just UGH.

Love my straws and chopsticks.
