Description
Today I have the third part of my upcoming Celestia sculpt. She is nowhere near done, but she's coming along nicely.I think her chest is still a bit too big. I'll make some small changes and show them at the beginning of Part 4.
I have been asked repeatedly to make a tutorial and since she's going to be my most involved and complicated sculpture to date, I figured it would be the perfect time to just get everything out. These multi-part WIP submissions should include everything I do when sculpting. I do not know how many parts this will end up being, but I'll keep making them until she's done.

What size of wire do you use, may I ask?

For this sculpt, 3-4mm coated steel wire I think. It's been awhile since I've used that wire. However I'm currently using a 1mm uncoated wire that loops back on itself about 4 times and is twisted into a helix. I've been experimenting. The important thing to do though is use a wire or method of wire prep that has the strength necessary for the figure to hold it's form.
and of course you may ask. I'm always available to help those interested.

Thank you!
Once again, I do not mind how you decide to us it as long as I recieve credit for it. I allow anything I create to be used for anything anyone wants to use it for, as long as they credit it back to me. Best wishes.

WOoooah.
I have no idea what's going on but I like it and I definitely want to read this in more detail and try it out myself. I'm really amazed by how good her snout looks.

Thank you. I really agonized over that snout and I'm still agonizing over it. You should definitely give it a shot and if you want any advice or just want to show off what you've made I'm always available. Best wishes.
