Description
Probably the most innovative device in the history of video games, the Wiimote is also an excellent modeling and rendering exercise. My objective for this little training was to be insanely faithful to the real design, and achieve a photorealistic render.
Modeled, textured in 3dsMax 9, rendered with Vray 1.5.

Composition postwork in photoshop CS3.

NICE WORK MY FRIEND! I am allll to fimiliar with this little device...and to be honest, it may be innovative, but its sucks when you have to use it 12 hours a day for almost 2 months straight. But this piece is a beautiful render of it!

Yeah...if only it was that easy! I'm doing QA Testing while interning in the Art Department (want to get off the QA floor and start to do what I trained for 7 years to do!)

My goodness that is a very impressive recreation! Down to nearly every minute detail... I especially appreciate at how you nailed the A button! I could list all the details but just take my word for it when you've done very nicely, and I can see the major attention you've put towards it.

I mean if it brings to you a lot of time doing that.
Is not easy to make things appear to be real.

I'd say about 10 hours.
Actually doing realistic stuff is not that hard with a convincing model and a renderer like Vray
