oh, I forgot... you could see [link] which is in HDR -tho I added a gloomy effect afterwards- and [link] which is also an HDR shot. No noise removal was necessary in any of the two btw.

Hi man, how r ya? I think it's the noise from the tone mapping [the "old-camera look"]. I always [ok, almost] apply a noise removal filter trying not to destroy details... kinda tricky but you'll get better final results eventually. Oh, and just in case u didn't know, use the LOOOOWEST iso available in ur camera, cuz this one shouldn't be so noisy since it's daylight. The three look quite nice anyway, I like this one the most.

hey dude
i scaled the composited image up usin that printpro photoshop plugin and that usually does quite a good job of smoothing out noise, tho now you mention it i do see that theres some still on there. i shot all these on iso100 so the original three shots have very little noise in. to be honest, it just wasnt a good day for it. there was a lot of haze that dampened the colours and the sun was too high so there wasnt much to speak of in the way of shadows. next time ill head out later in the day and perhaps i can get something a bit more noticeable in the way of hdr details.
thats a sweet pic you linked, i love the lighting on the tree. the second link you put in links to the same pic tho, which other one is hdr? thanks for commenting, and im glad you like these

Looks like a photo taken with an old or very cheap digital camera. Is that the look you were going for? Sort of neo-retro.

not really, this one just came out badly. the sun was too close to the right side and id forgotten my lens collar so the image got washed out on the right. marina 3 shows more what i was going for with the fine details and vivid colours.
